Our Story...

Her Story
Standing in the doorway of what is now "our" restaurant, he looked so handsome and charming... I thought: "This could work" :-) Little did I know that everything would work out better than I could have wished for. Tommy is such an amazing, generous, and caring man; putting faith and family above all else. Everyday I grow to love him more and more and I feel so blessed to have such a wonderful and loving relationship with someone that I truly love and respect.
It was a long road and a long wait to finding the man I wanted to spend the rest of my life with. I too was picky...very picky. And looking back on the different situations in my life, the song that plays over and over in my head is " I thank God, for unanswered prayers". Sometimes we pray for the wrong things, but God always has the right thing in his plan for us, and as Tommy and I are proof, it might not always be on our time(line), but its always at the right time.
I am so happy to be getting married to the type of man I was waiting for. A man whose character, works, and heart align with what's also important to me in life and spirituality.
I can't wait for our "Forever" to begin on 2-14-15 and I look forward to having all of my loved ones, friends, and family witness what will be one of the happiest of moments for us.
Tommy, I love you forever, and I can't wait to be your bride!

His Story
Being raised Irish Catholic...actually Irish/Slovak/Japanese Catholic, prayer has always been an important part of my family. “O St. Joseph, model of Justice and therefore of husbands, I beseech thee to direct me in my choice of a future wife....” That is the beginning of a prayer my mother shared with me when I was in high school. Even back then, I was very focused on finding the right person to marry and share my life with. Thankfully, I can be a bit stubborn. And as the years passed with no future wife in sight, I continued to look and to pray, asking for God to guide me to the woman He wanted me to marry. Certainly, people thought I was crazy... or too picky. Or, maybe, I had commitment issues and just wanted to be a bachelor my whole life. Well, I am picky. But mostly, I was just stubborn. I knew that the Lord would come through. And He did, as He always does.
Priscilla wasn't someone I found. She wasn't someone I saw and talked into going out with me. She was a Gift. Delivered after years of searching. She's not what I asked God for...she is all those things and so much more. She is what God knew I needed.
I feel so fortunate to have been given the double gift of Priscilla and her amazing daughter Summer. I love them both so much. I am truly twice blessed and forever grateful.
Thank you God. Thank you St. Joseph. And thank you Priscilla, for waiting for me. I promise to love you and continue to work hard each day to be the man you need me to be.
Tommy :)
