Our Adoption Story
Hello, and welcome to our Adoption Page!
We are so happy you found us and are interested in learning more about us and our story. We are Tom and Priscilla, a happily married couple from and living in California. We were married on 2-14-15 and have an incredible story or Love, Faith, and Family, and are now ready to open our home, lives, and heart to our own adopted child or children. I'm Priscilla, and I absolutely love and adore children and being a mom. I have a daughter who is 23 years old now and the best thing I could ever take credit for is in having raised a wonderful, caring, loving, young woman who has a heart of gold and does the most she can for everyone she meets. (My daughter is a very bright and talented individual who decided to make a difference in the lives of people facing challenges in society and works as a behavioral coach for adults and persons with autism; she loves her job and the people she impacts) I raised my daughter as a single mother for the first 18 years of her life, before meeting my wonderful husband and becoming a strong knit family of three. I really do love being a mother and I have so much love, care, and patience to give. Despite facing hard times and financial struggle and some hardship as a single mom, I manage to raise my daughter in the best possible environments and situations, allowing her to thrive, feel unconditional love, and secure in life. And I'm ready to do it again! One of my life-long dreams is to be a mother again, but this time with the joint effort of a supportive, involved, loving husband, and I have that now - in my husband Tom.
We are a Christian/Catholic inter-racial couple and specifically seeking to adopt mixed race children like ourselves to complete our family. In a world with so much adversity for minority and mixed race children, my husband and I both feel that as strong and caring adults with mixed race backgrounds, we are a great source for being able to raise strongly confident, mixed race or minority children that will be proud of their heritage, while at the same time being all inclusive, welcoming, and unbiased to others of any race or nationality. We want to raise our children to welcome, love, and appreciate everyone, the same way that we were raised. We are hoping to adopt a newborn or child up to about age 4 or 5 years old, of any gender, but prefer an ethnic background that is of African-American mix with either Caucasian, Hispanic, Asian, or other race. I am multi racial with an ethnicity of African-american, Hispanic, and Spanish My husband Tom is also of mixed ethnicity that includes Japanese, Irish, and Slovic. We are both healthy, fit, and active and plan on leading a long and happy life. We have a very loving home, large extended family and a wonderful circle of friends and family to support our decision to expand our family. Our adult daughter is 23 years old and lives on her own, but not too far away and we are very close and spend much time together as a family.
We are truly a happy family with great values and a loving home that I know would be a perfect fit for any child. We live in a family focused area of South Orange County located in Southern California (Aliso Viejo, Ca is where we live and is one of the safest U.S. cities, has great schools, and is VERY family oriented). My husband and I both work from home with much flexibility. I would however be focused on being a full time mom upon placement of our adoptive child.
If you or someone you know is interested in or considering placing their child in a loving home and family through adoption and feel we might be a fit for the child(ren), please feel free to CONTACT US HERE. We are open to answer any questions you might have for us. Please feel free to also share your story and information with us. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn about us, and we wish you the best in whatever your situation. God Bless!

Sincerely,
Priscilla & Tom <3
